Principal Data Analyst

Main Responsibilities/Tasks:  

The Data & Analytics Analyst is part of a team developing data and analytics solutions. Responsible for defining the critical business processes for business operations and related data and functional requirements. The position combines knowledge of data usage, business process management and application management strategy to advance and support designing enterprise data, analytics, and integration across the technical business landscape.

Being active in Global Data and Analytics Community. Organizes speakers and content for delivery to the business and Dept of Trade & Industry community.
Driving the workflow discussions related to the Master data management addition onto Reltio effectively decommissioning other platforms.

 

Main skills required:

- Solid analytical skills to interpret and design the flow of data between applications to support a business process activity.
- Displays understanding of business processes, Workflow definition, functionality, and performance measures. Uses appropriate analytical methods and tools to perform work and recommend solutions to meet business needs. 
- Experience with database queries using SQL or Toad, familiarity with integration technology (ETL, Message services, API Management) and various integration formats such as XML, HL7, CDA.  
- At least 3 years' experience team lead
- Experience using a variety of tools such as Json, SQL, PBI, Python, Tableau.
- Strong business domain knowledge, data expertise
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of management through diplomacy and tact.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
