Pre-Sales Engineer – Software Solutions

Key Responsibilities

·          Act as a key member of the Sales Team, collaborating closely with Account Managers, Technical Experts, and Product Owners.

·      Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the software solutions market (both public and private sectors).

·         Prepare and manage technical and financial offers for tenders published in SEAP and other procurement platforms.

·         Coordinate the full proposal process — from collecting input from all relevant stakeholders to submitting complete, compliant, and well-structured offers on time.

·         Collaborate with internal teams to design tailored technical and commercial solutions aligned with client needs.

·         Analyze and understand client business models, processes, and needs, ensuring that proposed solutions address real operational and strategic challenges.

·         Develop clear, compelling, and well-structured written proposals that present the solution in a persuasive and value-oriented way.

·         Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends, opportunities, and differentiation areas.

·         Support the sales team in client presentations, demos, and technical discussions.

·         Maintain an updated understanding of company products, technologies, and market trends.

·         Administer and organize sales operations, including maintaining the database of contracts and commercial documents, managing the sales accounts database, tracking and monitoring sales opportunities across all pipeline stages, and preparing periodic sales and opportunity progress reports.

·         Keep accurate and up-to-date records in CRM and reporting systems.

Requirements

·         Technical background – graduate of a technical or IT-related faculty (Computer Science, Automation, Electronics, etc.).

·         Proven experience in software sales, pre-sales, or technical offer preparation.

·         Hands-on experience with public procurement procedures and SEAP offer submission, will be a plus

·         Good understanding of business markets and procurement dynamics.

·         Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

·         Fluent English proficiency (both written and spoken).

·         Result-oriented, proactive, and motivated to achieve measurable outcomes.

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools.

Nice to Have

·         Experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).

·         Familiarity with public procurement legislation.

·         Previous exposure to B2B software or SaaS environments.
